im versatile
Real Ghostbusters' Venkman as portrayed by Lorenzo Music [aka the voice of Garfield in Garfield and Friends] is a vastly superior character compared to the original, live action version of Venkman portrayed by Bill Murray, and I am willing to put my money where my mouth is on that.
Venkman is a dumbass with two PhDs, who sometimes downplays his own intelligence and sometimes is, in fact, just that stupid. this is a man who rode a roller coaster while standing up in order to shoot Cthulhu. This is ALSO a man who has convinced hostile ghosts to disperse by talking with them. this is ALSO a man who tried to cheat the ghosts of Doc Holliday and the Earp brothers at poker.
[Real Ghostbusters pre-Coulier is good, guys.]
anyway im @ plurk @ glitchbirds and im in the discord !

what are you talking about everyone is friends with pyro. pyro loves friends. pyro wouldn't hurt venkman unless he did something bad like take their fire. venkman wouldn't do something like that, would he?

edit: nvm nick beat me to it
Hello! I'm Everett. I'll be one of your mods for this murdergame. I'm also playing The Pyro from Team Fortress 2, brought over from the mock round earlier this year. A run down on Pyro--they're, well, a pyromaniac that has quite a childish personality and has a tendency to not realize that their consequences have actions. They're rather impulsive, acting on whims based on the present and seemingly not caring what happens afterwards. As a result, they can be...a little intimidating. They don't really communicate with others very well, given that they wear a gas mask and full asbestos suit. As a result, they mostly resort to non-verbal communication or just simple sign language/hand gestures.

anyway, Mr. Satan is from this little known niche series called Dragon Ball, you've probably never heard of it. he shows up in the later arcs, introduced first as a sideline comic relief character during the tail-end of the Cell saga. he's essentially this huge celebrity who got famous from winning the biggest martial arts tournament on the planet, and that's notable for being basically the Only legitimate accomplishment he has under his belt.
fellas, if he tries to claim he "killed some overgrown cockroach called Cell"? don't believe it for a second. in fact, you'd be best off assuming nothing he says is true. especially whenever he starts going off about how there's no such thing as the supernatural. ...come to think of it, boy he's gonna be giving a lot of people here a hard time about that one, huh. i apologize in advance.

For the unfamiliar, Grog is an adventuring barbarian from the DnD series Critical Role. He's a wall of muscle and rage with just enough of a moral compass to have a really bad time here. He helped save the world a few times, and then got his soul sucked out by a magic playing card.

I'm bringing in Xander from Fire Emblem: Fates. He's specifically from the Conquest route of the game, and coming in from the end of the game where he's now the King of Nohr! This is a definite improvement over the last king, his dad, who was supremely evil, and yet everyone listened to him anyway. The point is that Xander did some awful things because dad told him to, but he's actually a good person so this whole thing is going to suck! Yay!!

I'm going to be bringing you King Michalis of Macedon, from Fire Emblem, specifically New Mystery of the Emblem if anyone is counting! He's the physical embodiment of Sometimes People Just Suck, he has a long history of being a disaster of a human being and he's going to see literally no reason to stop now. ...He rules over a bunch of barbarians, bandits, and a disproportional number of nuns, and he has the exact personality one would think he does given that.

proper parental tragedies
as opposed to garon over there, whom nobody deserves, and everything going on with the macedon royalty, which nobody asked for
...we all have parental issues but i promise most of us have the decorum to just be orphans or something

Those of you aware of the game Foolish Mortals might find this a little familiar, actually! Because I'm playing Kimberly Ann Hart, from Power Rangers...kind of. She's from the recent comic and was introduced under the moniker of Ranger Slayer. A far cry from the Pink Ranger you've heard about, she's jaded, bitter, and filled with an all-consuming need to atone for her past mistakes. Oh, and she's sort of stuck as a refugee outside reality right now. It's fine.
She's got experience with scavenging and dystopias and stuff like that, so hey! She'll be helpful to have around, probably.

This is a very different shade of pink ; D but I am excited to introduce her to y'all, see the difference between her spunky teen self and her tired adult self :>

I'm bringing in Oksana Astankova, or known better by her codename Villanelle, from the BBC show Killing Eve. Villanelle is a trained covert assassin being hunted by a sexy intelligence officer with amazing hair and they are totally in love, 100%, trust her on this. Has no empathy, childish and impulsive, fun at parties, kills because why not?
As a note though she will be forging whatever she can about herself ICly because people finding out you're a dangerous assassin is a big no-no if you want to live a long and healthy life. She is going to pretend to be a nurse because it'll let her use most of her skill set with reasonable explanation and come off as ~caring and compassionate~ -- gross.

solidSNAKE PLISSKEN!! he's from a couple movies about escaping from various major american cities, which have been turned into giant prisons! It's fine. The United States is fine, where he comes from. He's a very well-adjusted man who is absolutely not emotionally dead.As for me, I've been rolling around the murdergame scene for a while (that list is slightly outdated, But), and uh... I haven't been in one in a while, so this is going to be fun! Especially since I usually play like. Various emotional cute girls and this guy sure the fuck isn't that.

HI YALL I'm DRIZZ and you might already know me because of my extended murdergame history and I'm here to add to that with another character that's... pretty different from the normal ones I play.
I'm playing Ladd Russo from Baccano! He's kind of nuts and enjoys killing people, a lot! I also had him in the Mock Trial, where he got kicked in the balls, so he's probably in for a good time here too.

If you haven't heard of him before, the basic gist is that Booster is from the year 2462, where he blew what was going to be a promising football career by getting involved in a gambling scandal, so he stole a bunch of shit from the museum where he was employed as a security guard and time traveled back to the present to become a superhero and utilize his fame for sweet, sweet advertising dollars. Eventually he'll figure out how to actually be a good person (mostly), but for now, he's a full on Chaotic Neutral idiot and I fully expect him to die here one way or another.

YO, WHAT'S UP. my name's gray and i'm here with medic from the classic hat simulator with occasional first person shooting elements (like anyone cares about those), team fortress 2. he's exactly what his name implies, being the medic of a multicultural team of mercenaries who were at one point hired to fight over gravel pits by two sinister corporations running the world in the shadows. nowadays, his job holds much less weight but it's still just as ridiculous. when his team aren't fighting robots that run on money or taking dangerous missions in exchange for
weapon skinspriceless treasures, they're usually doing things that range from community service with the unintended side effect of saving children from the evil australian version of santa, tormenting wizards to the point of homicidal fury, and sometimes fighting against their former employer and his team of suspiciously similar retro substitutes to save the world (maybe). medic himself is a cheerful, friendly, mostly affable person in love with ~science~! and birds! and magic! and organ transplants, consensual or otherwise! and murder! he's pretty much a disney princess crossed with the aesthetic of a ghostbuster given the sensibilities of a very upbeat psychopath.you can reach me at
i should also mention that this is my first murdergame ever. so yeah. this is going to be weird.
no subject
i hope he and the ghostbusters get into an argument over who stole design elements from who [medi-gun backpack vs proton pack, reanimator vs ghosttraps, ze goggles vs ecto goggles]
no subject
also you know what's even worse than murder, garfield
a civil lawsuit
get ready to move into the dumpster behind the firehouse once all this is over
no subject
now see the fun thing about lawsuits is that usually if you strategically release ghosts in the homes of judges and the prosecution they decide to let the whole "unleashed a giant marshmallow god on new york" thing go and beg for help so a civil lawsuit isnt a huge concern
rgb managed to completely dodge all the legal trouble the movie 'busters dealt with and i firmly believe this is part of it since its canon in the novelization that venkman dropped a ghost off at a tabloid office to force them to retract a story about the boys
have fun with ghosts sleeping in your bed until you drop the lawsuit, doc
[i know in my heart he WOULD have fun]
