Welcome to the 1-800-HOTLINE Mock Trial! Thank you very much for joining us. We hope that this week will give you a taste of what is to come during the actual round in May. This Sunday, February 24th, we will be putting up the IC mingle log on 1_800_hotline community, and the mock trial investigation will be taking place on Friday, March 1st, with the trial posted the next day. If you have any questions, feel free to ask either of the mods, Jeff jeffurson or Everett wolfnoir

Hey fellas its Gabby here with Yukio Tonegawa from Kaiji (not his own spinoff series, which I don't consider strict canon because of Tonegawa Get iPhone In The 90s among other things), everyone's favorite scummy corporate middle manager who actually has canon experience with helping orchestrate Death Games™ to sate the bloodlust of his sadistic boss. I'm not like Tonegawa in a lot of ways though and one of them is that this is the first death game I'll be a part of. Although I've roleplayed a lot in the past, I fell out of it for a while and haven't really done DreamWidth RP before. but anyways, peter's cunning, has a +6 in charisma, and can steal pretty much anything he puts his mind to. he also owns many knives. don't try him. and also, about the name thing. since it's a secret and all, you'll know him as hadrian black from now until eternity.

Anyway this is Ray Stantz, from The Real Ghostbusters He's much like his movie counterpart except he's a little bit more optimistic and also decides to adopt the Worst Character in the World.

In case you're wondering how he counts as a criminal despite being a Best Boy- he has built unlicensed nuclear weapons and goes around unsupervised shooting it where pedestrians are.

Hi everyone! I'm Phas, murdergame vet, joining this particular round with one Grog Strongjaw from the DnD web series "Matt Mercer Emotionally Hurts Us All". Though you've probably heard of it under its alternate title, Critical Role.

Grog is a Goliath barbarian and Grand Poobah with a fondness for fighting, drinking, and shiny things. He's also got a rather unfortunate habit of picking up cursed weapons despite or directly because of, in one case his party members. He's also died at least twice already and walked it off, so he might have a slightly skewed view on the current stakes.

Hello, hello! I'm AF, and for the mock week, I will be playing Astolfo from Fire Emblem 6, AKA Binding Blade, AKA Featuring Roy From Smash Brothers. The game has never been officially localized in English, and, honestly, you're not actually missing much, but it does have this asshole in it and he's pretty great. Astolfo is a former thief turned professional spy because he robbed a castle once and its owner was so impressed that he managed to break in that he offered the guy a job on the spot. He has some additional Tragic Backstory Deets that I will restrain myself from going into right now, but the long and the short of it is There Is A Reason Why He Drinks and also boy howdy does he drink, so please let me know if you would rather avoid a depressed alcoholic!

Hello friends, my name is Groove and I am bringing you a lovely, wholesome, polite ray of sunshi- hahahaha no it's Mad Madam Mim from The Sword in the Stone.



It's one of the lesser known Disney animated films but it's a great romp all about King Arthur and Merlin getting into shenanigans! Mim is the closest thing to a villain the movie has- she's an evil witch who's the antithesis of everything Merlin stands for, and she revels in being a complete piece of garbage. She also has aboooout fifteen minutes total of screentime but manages to steal the show.
